2012 Buckner Golf Classic

The Buckner Golf Classic will be held Monday, September 10, 2012 at Green Tree Country Club in Midland, Texas, and will feature a four-person scramble.

Our Midland ministries:

Buckner has been dedicated to providing services that help strengthen vulnerable children and families in Midland since 1996. A wide variety of services are offered to children, families and single mothers with a goal of building the necessary skills and knowledge they need to succeed in life.

Foster Care and Adoption
Buckner provides families in the Midland community and surrounding areas with training and resources needed to become a family to a child living in the state's custody or to a child available for adoption n the United States or internationally. Buckner Family Place
Family Place is a multi-unit transitional housing program in Midland that provides safe, affordable housing to single parents and their children while the parents are enrolled in an educational or vocational program. Family Place helps hurting families have access to the time, safety and resources they need to heal and gain independence from welfare, domestic violence and child abuse.

About Buckner:

Buckner Children and Family Services provides residential programs for at-risk children and families; mission ventures domestically and internationally designed to enhance the lives of orphans and desperate children; church collaborations, which offer the experience and expertise of Buckner; child mentorships, which pair one adult with one elementary school child; foster care programs domestically and internationally, and domestic and international adoption.

Buckner Retirement Services provides a continuum of care for older residents in five communities in Texas Austin, Beaumont, Dallas, Houston, and Longview.
